Born and raised in Rock Hill, SC (RH High School class of 1957). Served in the USAF from 1956 to 1965. Retired from Duke University in 2001, presently living in Carrboro, NC. Hobbies include: Ham Radio (W4XC), travel, genealogy research, computing, reading.
